We are conducting scientifically impactful fundamental research. Based on these findings, we aim to develop silkworms that are more capable, more convenient, and easier to rear than ever before. For example, we seek to precisely control traits such as sex, diapause, and feeding preferences in silkworms. To achieve this, we are also developing technologies that allow for targeted modification of the silkworm genome.
