Eels are facing extinction. In 2014, IUCN added Japanese eel in the list of “a very high risk of extinction in the world”. Why are eels decreasing? How can we recover the resource? and Can Unadon, one of traditional Japanese food culture be sustainable? This symposium delivers various specialists' reports and opinions from different points of view to find pragmatic solutions for a better future of eels and human.
