As for space development based on manmade satellites, governments and major corporations are the only users, and it hasn’t spread to general users nor led to industrialization and commercialization. Believing there is a need to break out of this closed state, the University of Tokyo has successfully launched an ultra-compact satellite into space. It hopes this will open up new horizons for space use.
