Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Director General of the World Trade Organization (WTO) visited UTokyo to give a short lecture to UTokyo students. In the first half of the event, Dr. Okonjo-Iweala gave a short lecture titled“Our Challenges and Opportunities on Global Trade — Supply Chain Resilience and Sustainability.” In the second half of the event, a panel discussion with Director General Okonjo-Iweala, President Teruo FUJII, Executive Vice President Naoko ISHII (moderator), and Keisuke IIDA, Dean of the Graduate School of Public Policy was held.
