When you hear the words "idle" worker ants, what do you think of? Ants are very different creatures from humans. But if you take a close look at their "society", you’ll see a way of life that is reasonable from our point of view, such as division of labor, cooperation, living together, and cheating each other, even making us pause to think about it. Why do we feel rationality and empathy for the "society" of ants? Through this lecture, I hope you will find biological research on wild animals interesting.
