Engineering is the discipline which comprehends a whole of phenomena as a system and seeks a solution of problems from the systematic point of view, or makes some "things" in the broad sense. As a general introduction, Prof. Okubo talks about what engineering as a discipline amounts to, and about the School of Engineering of the University of Tokyo.
