It is a special lecture with French writer J.M.G.Le Clézio, a 2008 Nobel Prize for literature award recipient. This lecture take a dialogue form with Prof. Yoshikazu Nakaji who is also a translator of Mr. Le Clézio’s literatures.

Why does Mr.Le Clézio rewrite his ancestor's experience? What will it bring to him that he builds fiction while he divides into the memories of his ancestors and exercise his own imagination?

Mr.Le Clézio talked about “memories” and “imagination” in creation of literature, centering on "Mauritius things" such as "The Prospector”, "The Qurantine”, "Révolutions" and "Voyage à Rodrigues".
