Gabriele D'Annunzio was one of distinguished Italian writer in the early 20th century. His works were read and translated internationally, and many Japanese writers such as Soseki Natsume, Ogai Mori, Yukio Mishima loved them. This lecture traces D'Annunzio’s life and his beloved works worldwide.
