The Global Leadership Program (GLP) at the University of Tokyo and Japan Institute for Global Health (JIGH) are honored to host an open seminar on public narrative and community organizing, led by Professor Marshall Ganz (Senior Lecturer in Public Policy, Harvard Kennedy School) and joined by two leading Japanese social activists and entrepreneurs, Mr. Makoto Yuasa and Mr. Hiroki Komazaki. Directly implementing his own methodologies in public narrative and community organizing, Professor Ganz served as the campaign strategist for Obama’s US presidential campaign in 2008 and successfully led Obama to the White House as the first black president. The open seminar is a unique opportunity for the public to engage with the three speakers regarding their first-hand experiences in social change.
