Statistics is a powerful wisdom for understanding both natural and social phenomenon and forecasting unveiled things such as wether, economic growth, population changes in the future. Despite we benefit from results of statistical data analysis, statistics seems complicated and mysterious. In 2013, which is placed as “The International Year of Statistics”, UTokyo open lecture series introduces the world of statistics and how it is applied into science fields.
